With cold weather almost here (at least in the Northern Hemisphere), it’s time to get creative with your indoor activities. Luckily, the internet is full of suggestions that will help you have fun while staying warm! No matter your interests, a quick Google search is sure to introduce you to a community of engaging and creative people with similar interests.
Cooking:
Many television personalities and well-known chefs (as well as adorable amateurs) have videos online where they share recipes and demonstrate how to cook various dishes. Whether you are new to cooking or have been doing it for years, it never hurts to try new things and learn from others. Perhaps you’ll discover a talent you never knew you had or ways to evolve your own recipes. You can even use the tips and tricks you learned from the internet and invite some friends over IRL to try your new creations!

There is a large online community of gamers eager to meet others who share their passion. Especially if you are new to the video game world, watching other players can help you learn and ultimately improve your skills, as well as build your community. If you have already been in the community for a while, it can be helpful to surround yourself with others who may have knowledge they can share with you. There is always something new to learn and being open to new opportunities is the best way to do so.
